Berrow Beach

The long, beautiful six-mile stretch of golden sand between Burnham and Brean is not to be missed when out on the Somerset coast. The sand dunes support some of the most diverse flora in Somerset – over 270 species of wildflower have been identified! At low tide, discover the wreck of the SS Nornen, a Norwegian Barque which ran aground here in 1897.
