Clevedon

A beautiful Victorian historic seaside town, Clevedon is a great spot to visit all year round. Popular for its promenade, pebbled beaches, marine lake and Victorian bandstand, and the many cafes and restaurants to enjoy the view. Opened in 1869 to receive paddle steamers from Devon and Wales, Clevedon Pier’s exceptional architectural quality and beautiful design led to its designation as the UK’s only functioning Grade 1 Listed Pier. Pop in to the small museum for a range of hands-on exhibits for all ages about Clevedon, the Pier and the estuary. The Porthole Room allows you to see the estuary from a different perspective, with views across the estuary from underneath the Pier.

Clevedon

Yn dref glan môr hanesyddol Fictoraidd, mae Clevedon lle gwych i ymweld ag ef gydol y flwyddyn, yn boblogaidd am ei phromenâd, traethau cerigos, llyn morol a llwyfan bandiau Fictoraidd, ynghyd â chaffis a bwytai amrywiol sy’n cynnig golygfeydd ysblennydd. Dynodwyd Pier Clevedon, a agorwyd ym 1869 i groesawu agerlongau padl o Ddyfnaint a Chymru, yn Adeilad Gradd 1 – yr unig bier o’i fath yn y DU – am ansawdd ei bensaernïaeth a’i ddyluniad hyfryd. Galwch draw i’r amgueddfa fechan sy’n cynnwys amrywiaeth o arddangosiadau i bawb o bob oedran am Clevedon, y Pier a’r aber. Mae Ystafell y Portwll yn cynnig persbectif gwahanol o’r aber, gyda golygfa unigryw o waelod y Pier.
